Possible Causes
Blown internal mains fuse,Faulty power cord,Defective door switch preventing power-up,Burnt track or component on control PCB power input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the microwave before any inspection. Mains voltage is present at the input.
- Check outlet and breaker: Test the outlet with another appliance and verify the circuit breaker or fuse has not tripped.
- Inspect power cord: Look for visible damage, cuts, or burn marks. Replace the cord if damaged.
- Internal fuse (qualified persons): Remove the cover and locate the mains fuse near the power entry. Test with a multimeter and replace only with the same type and rating if blown. Investigate why it blew (shorted component, door switch, etc.).
- Control board check: If the fuse is intact, inspect the control PCB for burnt components or broken solder joints at the power input.
