• Check turntable: Ensure the tray rotates smoothly and is not overloaded with oversized dishes that restrict movement.
• Stir and cover: Cover food with a microwave-safe lid and stir or rotate halfway through cooking to improve uniformity.
• Stirrer check (qualified persons): On models with a top stirrer fan, verify that the stirrer motor operates and the fan is not jammed.
• Performance test: If heating is generally weak, have a technician measure output and inspect the magnetron.
