Microwave produces sparks or arcing inside the cavity during cooking.

• Remove metal: Ensure no metal utensils, twist ties, or foil are inside unless specifically allowed by Gorenje instructions.
• Clean thoroughly: Wipe the cavity walls and ceiling with a mild detergent solution to remove grease and burnt food, especially near the waveguide cover (usually a small mica or plastic panel on the side wall).
• Inspect waveguide cover: If the cover is burnt, cracked, or has holes, replace it with a Gorenje-compatible waveguide cover.
• Touch-up paint: If enamel is chipped exposing bare metal, use microwave-safe cavity touch-up paint to cover small areas (follow manufacturer guidance).
