How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the microwave before accessing the underside or internal components.
- Check glass tray and support: Remove the glass tray and roller ring. Clean them and the cavity floor. Ensure the roller ring moves freely.
- Inspect coupler: Check the plastic coupler that fits into the motor shaft for cracks or wear. Replace if damaged.
- Test motor (qualified persons): Access the turntable motor from the bottom of the unit. Measure its resistance; an open circuit indicates a failed motor. Replace with a Gorenje-compatible turntable motor.
- Reassemble and test: After replacement, reassemble and test with a light load on the tray.
