• 4. Check wiring: Verify that the fan motor connector is firmly seated and that wires are not burnt or broken.
• 5. Test motor: Disconnect the fan motor and measure its resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed motor. If safe and you are qualified, you can briefly power the motor with the correct mains voltage on a test bench to confirm operation.
• 6. Replace motor if needed: Install a Grundig-compatible cooling fan motor, ensuring correct orientation for airflow.

If the fan motor tests good but E08 persists, the control PCB or its fan relay may be faulty and should be replaced by a technician.
