Microwave displays E12 and may shut down unexpectedly during operation.

Safety first: Unplug the microwave before inspecting the cord or plug.

• Check outlet: Plug another high-load appliance (like a kettle) into the same outlet to verify stable power. If lights dim or the appliance struggles, have an electrician check the circuit.
• Avoid extension leads: Connect the Hansa microwave directly to a wall outlet. Undersized extension cords can cause voltage drop and trigger E12.
• Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, burn marks, or loose plug pins. If any damage is found, discontinue use and have the cord replaced by a professional.
• Power reset: Unplug for 10 minutes, then reconnect and test. If E12 recurs on a known-good circuit, the internal power supply or control board may be faulty and should be replaced.
