Microwave interior light does not work, but heating and other functions are normal.

Safety first: Unplug the microwave before replacing the lamp.

• Access lamp compartment: On many Hansa models, the lamp is accessible behind a small cover either inside the cavity or on the side/rear of the cabinet. Remove the cover screws carefully.
• Replace lamp: Remove the old lamp and install a new one of the exact type and wattage specified by Hansa (often a special microwave-rated bulb).
• Check connections: Ensure the lamp is seated firmly in the holder and that any connectors are tight.
• Reassemble and test: Refit the cover, plug in the microwave, and test the light by opening the door and starting a short cycle.
• If new lamp does not work: The lamp circuit or control board relay may be faulty and should be checked by a technician.

Warning: Use only microwave-rated lamps; incorrect bulbs can overheat or shatter.
