Microwave interior light does not come on, but unit heats and otherwise works normally.

Safety First: Unplug the microwave before replacing the bulb or accessing the light housing.

• Access bulb: On many JennAir models, the cavity light bulb is accessible from the top or rear after removing a cover. Consult your manual for location.
• Replace bulb: Remove the old bulb and install a new bulb of the same type and wattage, rated for microwave use.
• Check socket and wiring: If a new bulb does not work, inspect the light socket and wiring for burns or loose connections.
• Control board: If socket and wiring are good, the control board light relay may be faulty and require replacement.
