How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the microwave before removing the control panel.
- Check for lock mode: Ensure the control lock/child lock is not enabled (see user manual for unlock procedure).
- Dry and clean: If the issue started after cleaning, allow the panel to dry for several hours. Wipe with a dry cloth.
- Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and disconnect/reconnect the keypad ribbon cable to the control board.
- Replace keypad: If specific buttons never work or require excessive pressure, replace the keypad membrane or entire control panel assembly.
