Possible Causes
Aged membrane contacts, Moisture damage behind keypad, Cracked control fascia, Loose keypad ribbon cable
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- 1. Test all keys: Note which keys fail or are intermittent. If multiple keys in a row fail, the membrane is likely worn.
- 2. Clean surface: Wipe the keypad surface with a slightly damp cloth and dry. Do not soak.
- 3. Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and reseat the keypad ribbon cable on the control PCB.
- 4. Replace keypad: If issues persist, replace the membrane keypad or full control panel assembly with a Logik-compatible part.
