Step-by-step checks:

• 1. Remove glass tray: Take out the glass turntable and roller ring. Inspect for cracks, chips, or food debris that could jam rotation.
• 2. Inspect roller ring and coupler: Check the plastic coupler in the center of the cavity floor. Ensure it is not cracked or stripped. Clean any spills or burnt food from the area.
• 3. Test rotation: With the tray removed, start a short cook cycle and look through the window to see if the coupler turns. If it does not move, the motor or its drive is likely faulty.
• 4. Access turntable motor (experienced DIYers): Remove the microwave from its installation if over-the-range, then remove the bottom panel. The turntable motor is usually mounted under the cavity floor.
• 5. Test motor: Disconnect the motor wires and test for continuity with a multimeter. An open circuit indicates a failed motor. Also inspect the wiring for damage.
• 6. Replace motor or coupler: Remove mounting screws, swap in a new OEM Midea turntable motor and/or coupler, and reassemble.
• 7. Reinstall tray and test: Ensure the roller ring is correctly seated and the glass tray engages the coupler. Run a test cycle to confirm smooth rotation and that E9 is cleared.
