Microwave interior light works and display is on, but the turntable does not rotate.

Safety first: Unplug the microwave before accessing the underside or internal components.

• Check tray and ring: Remove the glass tray and roller ring. Clean both and the cavity floor. Ensure the ring wheels roll freely.
• Inspect coupler: Check the plastic coupler for cracks or wear. Replace if damaged.
• Test motor shaft: Run the microwave briefly with a cup of water and no tray. Look through the glass to see if the coupler turns.
• Replace motor (advanced): If the shaft does not turn, test the motor for continuity and replace if open or seized.
