Possible Causes
Shorted humidity sensor, sensor wiring shorted to chassis, moisture inside sensor connector, failed control board sensor circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before working on the unit.
- Dry the cavity: Leave the door open and allow the interior to dry thoroughly, especially if the error followed heavy steam cooking.
- Inspect sensor harness: Check for pinched or damaged wires from the sensor to the control board.
- Resistance test: Measure the sensor's resistance and compare to spec. Very low resistance or fluctuating readings may indicate a short.
- Replace sensor/harness: Replace the humidity sensor and/or its wiring harness if shorted. If the problem persists, the electronic control board may need replacement.
