Microwave interior light does not come on when the door opens or during cooking, but the unit heats normally.

Safety: Unplug the microwave before replacing the lamp. Some models require removal of the outer cover.

• Access lamp: On many Monogram over-the-range models, the lamp is accessible from the top or front via a service panel. On built-in models, the outer cover may need to be removed.
• Replace bulb: Install the correct wattage and type of cavity lamp specified by Monogram. Do not exceed the rated wattage.
• Check socket and wiring: If a new bulb does not work, inspect the lamp socket and wiring for damage or loose connections.
• Control board: If wiring is intact, the lamp relay on the electronic control board may have failed and require board replacement.
