Possible Causes
Failed convection heater, Faulty cavity temperature sensor, Convection fan not running, Control PCB temperature regulation fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Steps:
- 1. Preheat test: Set the convection mode to a known temperature (e.g., 180°C) and allow it to preheat. Use an oven thermometer to verify actual temperature.
- 2. Check fan operation: Listen for the convection fan. If it does not run, the heater may overheat locally and shut off.
- 3. Inspect heater (for competent persons): Test the convection heater for continuity and replace if open.
- 4. Test sensor: Check the cavity temperature sensor resistance and replace if out of specification.
If heaters and sensors are good, the control PCB may not be regulating temperature correctly and may need replacement.
