Possible Causes
Contaminated humidity sensor, Failed humidity sensor, Loose sensor connector, Faulty sensor circuit on control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the microwave before accessing internal sensors.
Steps:
- 1. Clean cavity: Wipe down the interior, especially near the top where the humidity sensor port is usually located. Remove grease and food splatter that can coat the sensor.
- 2. Ventilate: Leave the door open for 30 minutes to allow moisture to evaporate, then test again.
- 3. Locate sensor: On sensor-cook Morphy Richards models, the humidity sensor is typically behind a small grille at the top of the cavity. With the unit unplugged and cover removed, access the sensor module.
- 4. Check connections: Ensure the sensor plug is firmly seated on the control PCB and that the wires are intact.
- 5. Replace sensor: If H0 persists, replace the humidity sensor module with a compatible Morphy Richards part.
If replacing the sensor does not clear H0, the control PCB sensor circuit may be defective.
