How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Steps:
- 1. Clean surface: Wipe the keypad with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove grease and dirt.
- 2. Test multiple keys: Note which keys fail. If entire rows or columns are dead, the ribbon or PCB may be at fault.
- 3. Reseat ribbon cable (for competent persons): Remove the control panel and reseat the keypad ribbon on the control PCB.
- 4. Replace keypad: If individual keys remain unresponsive, replace the membrane keypad or full control panel assembly.
