Possible Causes
Faulty START button on keypad, Failed control PCB relay, Open door interlock switch, Control PCB logic fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Steps:
- 1. Verify door closure: Ensure the door is fully closed and latched. Try pressing inward on the door while pressing START.
- 2. Test other functions: Try setting the clock or using different auto menus. If all keys work except START, the keypad may be faulty.
- 3. Listen for relay click: When pressing START, listen for a faint click from inside. No click suggests the control PCB is not energizing the relay.
- 4. Inspect door switches (for trained persons): A failed door switch can prevent the control from starting the cycle. Test and replace as needed.
If the keypad and door switches are good, the control PCB relay or drive circuit likely needs replacement.
