Microwave displays E009 and the interior light does not come on when the door is opened.

Safety: Unplug the appliance. Lamps may be hot immediately after use.

Basic lamp replacement:

• Consult the Neff manual to locate the lamp cover (often behind a grille or side panel).
• Remove the cover screws and access the lamp.
• Replace the bulb with the exact type and wattage specified by Neff (microwave-rated lamp).

If the new lamp does not work:

• Check the lamp holder for heat damage or loose contacts.
• Test the door switch that controls the lamp for correct operation with a multimeter.
• Inspect wiring from the control board to the lamp holder.

If E009 remains after lamp and switch checks, the control PCB lamp driver may be faulty and require replacement.
