Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance. Heating elements and surrounding metal can be very hot after use.
Checks:
- Visually inspect the grill element at the top of the cavity for breaks, blisters, or burn marks.
- Access the rear or top panel to reach the grill element terminals.
- Disconnect the wires and test the element with a multimeter; a very high or infinite resistance indicates a failed element.
- Check the grill thermostat (if fitted) for continuity at room temperature.
- Inspect wiring and connectors for heat damage.
Replace the grill element or thermostat as needed. If the element and thermostat are good but E011 persists, the grill relay on the control board may be faulty and the board will need repair or replacement.
