Possible Causes

Open convection heating element, Failed convection fan motor, Faulty convection thermostat, Wiring fault to convection assembly

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect from mains and allow the oven to cool completely.

Inspection:

  • Remove the rear interior panel (if accessible) to expose the convection element and fan.
  • Check the element for visible breaks or hot spots.
  • Spin the convection fan by hand; it should rotate freely without noise.

Testing:

  • From the rear of the appliance, access the convection element terminals and test for continuity.
  • Test the convection fan motor windings for continuity.
  • Check any inline thermostats or thermal fuses for continuity.

Replace any failed element, fan motor, or thermostat with the correct Neff parts. If all components test good, the control board's convection relay may be defective.
