How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect from mains before accessing the base.
Mechanical checks:
- Ensure the microwave is installed level and not pressing unevenly on cabinetry.
- Remove any foreign objects under the cavity floor that could interfere with the weight sensor.
Sensor checks:
- Access the underside of the cavity to locate the weight sensor module.
- Inspect the mounting points for bending or damage.
- Check the sensor wiring harness for pinched or broken wires.
- Replace the weight sensor if it shows physical damage or tests out of range per Neff specifications.
Some models require a service calibration procedure after sensor replacement; this should be performed by a Neff technician.
