Microwave cavity light flickers during operation, but heating is normal.

Safety: Unplug and allow the lamp area to cool.

Checks:

• Access the cavity lamp and ensure it is firmly seated in the holder.
• Inspect the lamp holder contacts for corrosion or looseness.
• Replace the lamp if the filament appears darkened or worn.

If flicker persists with a new lamp and tight connections, the control board lamp driver may be unstable and the board may need replacement.
