Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse, Faulty mains filter, Open thermal fuse on cavity or magnetron, Failed control PCB power supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before opening.
Basic checks:
- Confirm the wall outlet has power and the plug is fully inserted.
Internal checks (qualified):
- Remove the cabinet and locate the main fuse on the input side. Test and replace with the exact rating if blown.
- Check thermal fuses on the cavity and magnetron for continuity.
- Inspect the mains filter and wiring for damage.
- If fuses and thermal devices are intact, the control PCB power supply may have failed and the board should be replaced.
If a replacement fuse blows immediately, there is likely a short circuit that must be diagnosed before further use.
