Microwave interior light does not come on, but the unit heats and otherwise works normally.

Safety: Unplug the microwave and allow it to cool.

Replacement:

• Locate the lamp cover (often behind a grille or side panel on Neff built-in models).
• Remove the cover and carefully unscrew or pull out the old lamp.
• Install a new microwave-rated lamp of the exact type and wattage specified by Neff.
• Check the lamp holder for heat damage and replace if necessary.

Reassemble and test. If the new lamp does not light, further diagnosis of the lamp circuit or control board is required.
