How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the microwave before inspecting internal wiring.
- Step 1 – Check outlet and plug: Ensure the plug fits snugly in the outlet. Try a different outlet to rule out a loose receptacle.
- Step 2 – Inspect power cord: Look for signs of wear or damage. Flex the cord gently near the plug and entry point; if the display flickers, the cord or connections may be faulty.
- Step 3 – Internal connections: Remove the cover and inspect the line filter board and connections to the control PCB. Reseat connectors and look for burnt or loose terminals.
- Step 4 – PCB solder joints: Examine the underside of the control board for cracked solder joints, especially around the power input and transformer. Repair or replace the board as needed.
