Possible Causes

Failed turntable motor, Jammed turntable coupler, Broken turntable drive shaft, Faulty motor wiring or relay on control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the microwave before accessing the underside or interior drive components.

  • 1. Check for mechanical obstruction: Remove the glass tray and roller ring. Clean any spilled food or debris. Inspect the plastic coupler in the center for cracks or warping.
  • 2. Test without load: With the tray and ring removed, plug in and start a short cycle. Observe the coupler through the window. If it does not turn and E09 appears, stop and unplug.
  • 3. Access the turntable motor: Depending on the OK model, remove the bottom cover or tilt the unit (unplugged) to access the motor mounted under the cavity floor.
  • 4. Test motor continuity: Disconnect the motor leads and measure resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed motor.
  • 5. Inspect wiring: Check for loose connectors or damaged wires between the motor and control board.
  • 6. Replace the motor or coupler as needed: Reassemble, ensuring the coupler is properly seated, then test with the glass tray in place.
