Child Lock / Safety Lock Circuit Error
Microwave displays E11; clock and basic functions work but cooking cannot be started

Possible Causes
Stuck child lock function in software, Faulty keypad child lock button, Control PCB firmware glitch, Shorted keypad matrix line
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: Some OK microwaves use E11 to indicate a persistent child lock or safety lock condition.
- 1. Try manual child lock release: Press and hold the STOP/CANCEL button for 3–5 seconds, or press and hold the LOCK or KEY symbol button (refer to the user manual). Watch for a lock icon disappearing from the display.
- 2. Full power reset: Unplug the microwave for 10–15 minutes, then plug back in and set the clock. Attempt to start a simple cook cycle.
- 3. Check keypad response: If some buttons do not respond or respond incorrectly, the keypad membrane may be faulty. Replace the keypad assembly.
- 4. If E11 persists with a known-good keypad: The control PCB firmware or input circuitry is likely defective and the board should be replaced.
