Possible Causes

Failed low-voltage regulator on control PCB, Open main relay coil, Broken solder joint on relay pins, Loose low-voltage harness connector

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the microwave before removing the control panel or cover.

  • 1. Check display brightness: If the display is dim or flickering along with E13, the low-voltage supply is suspect.
  • 2. Inspect control PCB: Remove the control panel and examine the board for bulging capacitors, burnt resistors, or cracked solder joints around the main relay.
  • 3. Reseat connectors: Disconnect and reconnect the low-voltage harness from the transformer or switching supply to the control PCB.
  • 4. If you have soldering skills: Reflow any visibly cracked solder joints on the relay pins. Otherwise, replace the control PCB.
  • 5. If E13 persists: Replace the control PCB assembly.
