Advertisements
Possible Causes
Burnt-out cavity lamp, Faulty lamp socket, Open lamp wiring, Failed lamp relay on control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the microwave before replacing the lamp. Glass can be hot and fragile.
- 1. Access lamp: On many OK models, the lamp is accessible by removing the top grille and a small cover, or from the rear.
- 2. Replace bulb: Install a new microwave-rated lamp of the same type and wattage.
- 3. Inspect socket: Check for heat damage or loose contacts. Replace the socket if burnt.
- 4. If a new bulb does not light: The lamp relay or wiring may be faulty, requiring control PCB or harness repair.
