Possible Causes
Failed humidity sensor, Disconnected sensor harness, Sensor port blocked by grease or debris, Control board sensor circuit fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the microwave before accessing internal components.
Step-by-step checks:
- 1. Clean cavity: Wipe down the interior, especially near the sensor opening (often on the top or side wall). Remove grease and food splatter.
- 2. Try sensor reset: After cleaning, leave the door open for 10 minutes to dry, then plug in and test a sensor cook program.
- 3. Access sensor: Remove the outer cover and locate the humidity/steam sensor module, usually near the top front of the cavity with a small opening into the cavity.
- 4. Check wiring: Ensure the sensor harness is firmly connected to both the sensor and the control board.
- 5. Replace sensor if needed: If E10 persists and wiring is intact, replace the humidity sensor with a Paderno-compatible part.
