• 1. Try disabling child lock: On most Privileg microwaves, press and hold the STOP/CANCEL or a dedicated key (often with a key symbol) for 3–5 seconds to toggle the child lock. Refer to your user manual for the exact combination.
• 2. Power reset: Unplug the microwave for 5–10 minutes, then reconnect and attempt to clear the lock again.
• 3. Test keypad: Check if any button appears stuck or physically jammed. Clean around the buttons with a slightly damp cloth (power off).

Advanced: If E16 persists and the keypad appears normal, the control PCB may have a logic fault and require replacement by a technician.
