Possible Causes

Faulty weight sensor (load cell),Loose mounting of turntable support,Disconnected sensor harness,Control PCB ADC failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the microwave before internal inspection.

User-level checks:

  • 1. Remove extra accessories: Ensure only the glass tray and roller ring are in place. Remove metal racks or accessories that may interfere with weight detection.
  • 2. Clean the turntable area: Food debris under the roller ring or coupler can affect load readings. Clean thoroughly.

Technician-level checks:

  • Access the underside of the cavity and locate any load cell or weight sensor assembly.
  • Verify that the sensor is firmly mounted and not bent or damaged.
  • Check the harness from the sensor to the control board for continuity.
  • Replace the weight sensor if readings are out of specification.

Note: Many Privileg microwaves do not use a weight sensor; E18 will only apply to models with auto-weight functions.
