Proline Child Lock / Control Lock Activated

Microwave display shows LOC or a lock icon; buttons do not respond except CANCEL.

Child lock feature enabled via keypad, Accidental key sequence pressed, Stuck key causing lock activation

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

User-level steps:

Refer to the Proline user manual for the specific model's child lock procedure. Commonly, press and hold the STOP/CANCEL or a dedicated LOCK key for 3–5 seconds to toggle the lock.
Try holding the START and CANCEL keys together for several seconds if there is no dedicated lock key.
If LOC will not clear, unplug the microwave for 5 minutes, then plug back in and try again.

If the lock indication remains and keys are unresponsive, the keypad or control board may be faulty and require service.
