Possible Causes
Loose harness between display PCB and main board, Oxidized connectors, Failed display PCB, Failed main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety Warning: Unplug the microwave before accessing internal boards.
Steps:
- 1. Power cycle: Unplug for 5–10 minutes, then plug back in. If F6 reappears, internal communication is likely disrupted.
- 2. Reseat connectors: With the unit unplugged and control panel removed, locate the harness between the display board and main board. Disconnect and reconnect each plug firmly.
If F6 persists, either the display PCB or main control board must be replaced. A technician can determine which board is faulty using diagnostic procedures.
