Possible Causes
Recent power outage or surge, Loose plug or outlet, Tripped household breaker, Faulty power cord or internal line fuse (if PF persists)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety Warning: Unplug the microwave before checking internal fuses.
Steps:
- 1. Confirm power event: If there was a recent outage or breaker trip, PF is normal. Reset the clock and resume use.
- 2. Check outlet: Ensure the plug is fully inserted and the outlet is not loose. Test the outlet with another appliance.
- 3. Inspect breaker: Verify the kitchen circuit breaker is fully ON and not partially tripped.
If PF appears repeatedly without actual power loss, an internal power supply or control board issue may exist. In that case, have a technician inspect the line fuse, noise filter, and control board.
