Microwave clock and settings reset every time it is unplugged or after brief power cuts

Note: Many basic Russell Hobbs microwaves do not retain clock settings after power loss by design.

• 1. Check user manual: Confirm whether your model is expected to retain settings. If not, this is normal behavior.
• 2. Avoid frequent unplugging: Leave the microwave plugged in to maintain clock and presets.
• 3. If retention is expected but not working (advanced): A technician can inspect the control PCB for a failed backup capacitor or memory component and replace the board if necessary.
