How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before handling internal parts.
Steps:
- 1. Remove components: Take out the glass turntable and roller ring.
- 2. Clean thoroughly: Wipe the cavity floor, roller ring, and the underside of the glass tray to remove food spills and hardened debris.
- 3. Inspect roller ring: Check the roller ring wheels for flat spots or missing rollers. Replace if worn or broken.
- 4. Inspect glass tray: Look for chips or cracks, especially around the centre where it engages the coupler. Replace if damaged.
- 5. Check coupler: Inspect the turntable coupler for wear or deformation. Replace if the splines are rounded or cracked.
- 6. Test: Reassemble and run with a light load. If grinding persists, the turntable motor may be failing and should be replaced.
