How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the microwave before removing the control panel.
- Power cycle: Disconnect power for 10 minutes and reconnect. If E-91 persists, inspect the control area.
- Access control panel: Remove the top grille and the screw(s) securing the control panel. Carefully pull the panel out.
- Reseat ribbon cable: Gently disconnect and reconnect the flat ribbon cable between the keypad and the display/control board. Ensure it is fully inserted and locked.
- Inspect for damage: Look for cracks in the touch panel or burnt spots on the PCB. If damaged, replace the control panel assembly.
