Microwave shows E05 and will not start any program.

Steps to try:

• 2. Check for moisture: If steam has recently condensed on the control panel, gently dry the surface with a soft cloth and leave the door open for 30 minutes to allow internal moisture to dissipate.
• 3. Inspect keypad: Look for stuck or physically damaged buttons. Lightly press each key to ensure it moves freely.
• 4. Try demo/child lock reset: Consult the user manual to ensure the unit is not in demo mode or child lock. Attempt to disable these features.
• 5. If E05 persists: The touch control module or main control board is likely faulty and must be replaced.

Because the control electronics are integral to safety interlocks and power control, replacement should be done by a Siemens-authorized technician.
