E11 is related to the keypad lock/child lock circuitry.
- Step 1 – Try manual child lock toggle:
- Refer to the SilverCrest user manual for the specific key combination (often holding the STOP/CANCEL or a padlock symbol key for 3–5 seconds).
- Toggle the lock on and off several times.
- Step 2 – Power cycle:
- Unplug for 5–10 minutes, then reconnect and test.
- Step 3 – Clean keypad:
- Wipe the keypad with a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent; dry thoroughly.
- Step 4 – Inspect keypad ribbon (unplugged):
- Remove the control panel and reseat the keypad ribbon cable.
If E11 persists, the keypad or control PCB may need replacement.
