Possible Causes
Failed turntable motor, Jammed turntable mechanism, Damaged turntable coupler, Faulty wiring to turntable motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the microwave before touching the turntable drive components.
Mechanical checks:
- Remove the glass turntable and roller ring. Clean both thoroughly and remove any food debris from the cavity floor.
- Inspect the plastic turntable coupler (the piece that fits over the motor shaft) for cracks or melting. Replace if damaged.
- With the glass tray removed, gently rotate the coupler by hand. It should turn smoothly without grinding or binding.
Test:
- Reinstall the roller ring and glass tray correctly.
- Plug the microwave back in and run a short test. Observe whether the turntable rotates. If E07 reappears, stop the test.
Technician checks:
- Test the turntable motor for correct resistance and replace if open or seized.
- Inspect wiring and connectors from the control PCB to the motor.
- Check the control board output to the motor relay or triac.
Do not force the turntable; if the motor is jammed or noisy, it should be replaced.
