Microwave shows E08 and beeps continuously; keys may not respond correctly.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the microwave before cleaning or removing the control panel.

Cleaning and drying:

Wipe the touch panel with a soft, slightly damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the panel.
Dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth.
If the panel was recently exposed to steam or liquid spills, leave the door open and allow the unit to air dry for several hours.

Reset:

Unplug the microwave for 10 minutes, then plug back in and test the keypad.

Button test:

Press each key individually and check for normal tactile feedback. If some keys feel stuck or unresponsive, note their positions.

Technician checks:

Inspect and reseat the keypad ribbon cable on the control PCB.
Replace the touch control membrane or complete control panel assembly if the keypad is physically damaged or shorted.
Check the control PCB for input circuit faults.

Persistent E08 usually requires replacement of the keypad or control panel assembly.
