Possible Causes
Failed turntable motor, Broken or stripped turntable coupler, Jammed turntable support wheels, Faulty turntable motor wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the microwave before accessing the underside or internal components.
- Step 1 – Check the glass tray and support: Remove the glass turntable and the plastic roller ring. Clean any food debris or spills that may be jamming the wheels.
- Step 2 – Inspect the coupler: Check the plastic coupler that fits onto the motor shaft. If cracked or rounded, it may slip and prevent rotation. Replace if damaged.
- Step 3 – Test the motor: With the outer cabinet removed, locate the turntable motor under the cavity floor. Check wiring connections. Test the motor for continuity; if open, replace the motor with a compatible Swan part.
- Step 4 – Reassemble and test: Refit the motor, coupler, roller ring, and glass tray. Run a short heating cycle to confirm rotation.
If the motor tests good but E10 persists, the control PCB output to the motor may be faulty.
