Possible Causes

Open cavity temperature sensor, Broken sensor wiring, Loose connector on control PCB, Faulty control PCB input

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the appliance before testing.

  • Step 1 – Reseat connectors: Remove the outer cabinet and locate the cavity sensor connector on the control PCB. Unplug and replug it to ensure a good connection.
  • Step 2 – Inspect wiring: Follow the sensor wires from the cavity to the PCB. Look for cuts, burns, or disconnections. Repair or replace damaged wiring.
  • Step 3 – Test sensor continuity: Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance. An infinite reading indicates an open sensor; replace it with the correct Swan part.

If wiring and sensor are good, the control PCB may need replacement.
