Microwave displays LOC or a lock icon and will not start any function.

This is usually not a fault but a feature.

• Step 1 – Disable child lock: On most Swan microwaves, press and hold the Stop/Cancel button or a dedicated Lock key for 3–5 seconds until the LOC icon disappears. Refer to your specific model's manual.
• Step 2 – Check keypad: If LOC will not clear, ensure no button is physically stuck. Gently press around the keypad to free any jammed keys.
• Step 3 – Power reset: Unplug the microwave for 5 minutes, then reconnect and try disabling the lock again.

If the lock indicator remains and keys do not respond, the keypad or control PCB may be faulty.
