Possible Causes
Open grill heating element, Faulty grill thermostat or thermal cut-out, Failed grill relay on control PCB, Broken wiring to grill element
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug and allow the unit to cool before inspection.
- Step 1 – Test grill mode: Run grill for a few minutes and check if the element glows red (visible on many models). If not, proceed to internal checks.
- Step 2 – Inspect element and wiring: Remove the outer cabinet and check the grill element and its connections for breaks or burns.
- Step 3 – Test continuity: Use a multimeter to test the grill element and thermostat. Replace any open components.
If the element and thermostat are good, the control PCB grill relay may be faulty.
