Danger: This is a serious safety fault. Unplug the microwave immediately and do not use it until repaired.

Step 1 – Do not operate: Do not attempt to use the microwave with this symptom; microwave energy may be present with the door open.
Step 2 – Inspect door switches: With the unit unplugged, remove the outer cabinet and locate the door interlock switches. Check for signs of melting or welded contacts.
Step 3 – Replace faulty switches: Any switch that does not change state correctly when the door is opened/closed must be replaced as a set with the correct Swan-compatible interlock kit.
Step 4 – Professional verification: After replacement, a leakage test with a microwave leakage meter should be performed by a qualified technician.

Microwave light, fan, or turntable runs when the door is open, or continues running after door is opened.
