How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the microwave before adjusting hinges or latch components.

Door inspection:

  • Open and close the door slowly, checking that it closes evenly and flush with the cabinet.
  • Look for sagging or play in the hinges; lift the door gently to feel for excessive movement.
  • Inspect the latch hooks on the door and the latch openings in the cabinet for wear or damage.

Adjustments:

  • Tighten hinge screws on the door and cabinet side.
  • If the door is sagging, adjust the hinges according to Teka's installation guide or replace worn hinges.
  • Check the door switch bracket inside the cabinet (requires cover removal) and tighten mounting screws.
