Microwave shows E09 and the clock resets randomly or the display flickers during operation.

Safety first: Unplug the microwave before opening.

• Check external power: Avoid using long extension cords or overloaded power strips. Plug the Telefunken microwave directly into a grounded wall outlet.
• Inspect internal connections: Remove the cover and check the terminal block where the power cord connects, as well as connectors to the control board. Tighten any loose screws and reseat connectors.
• Look for heat damage: On the control board, inspect the area around voltage regulators and rectifiers for discoloration or cracked solder joints. Reflow solder or replace the board if necessary.
• Replace line filter or control board: If flickering persists and E09 continues, the line filter or control PCB may need replacement by a technician.
